UPDATE ON CLIVE

In July 2009 Clive was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, High Grade, which is cancer of the lymphatic system. His treatment took 6 months (July-Dec 09) and we are delighted to share that on 26 January 2010 the hospital reported that there were no active cancer cells in his body. There is, however, a small lump in his neck which is currently being investigated. We give thanks to God for Clive’s healing – for the treatment at the hospital, and the prayers of so many people around the world.

We would like to thank everyone for your prayers, cards, emails, texts, telephone calls, visits, flowers and gifts which has kept us going through these very difficult months. We thank the Lord for His grace, mercy and healing and look forward to serving Him in greater measure in the days that lie ahead.

24 FEBRUARY Clive saw the consultant today who reported that the biopsy had provided insufficient tissue for an adequate assessment of the lump on his neck. He may need a further ultrasound scan and biopsy to ascertain why the PET scan showed active cells and we wait to hear from the hospital. There was still some concern that Clive’s right leg remains very swollen and he was told that he has to keep his leg elevated as much as possible each day. There was some good news in that Clive’s red blood cell count is steadily increasing and we would appreciate your prayers for Clive to grow stronger each day so that he doesn’t feel so tired. Thank you for your continued prayers.

8 FEBRUARY Clive had a scan regarding the lump in his neck.
