Since founding Smile International, Clive and Ruth have transported hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid to needy families in Africa, Asia and Europe.

Clive has led British groups to the European Baptist Federation Congresses in Budapest in 1989, Lillehammer in Norway in 1994 and to Prague in 1999, BWA Congresses in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1995 and in Melbourne, Australia, in 2000. Clive led a delegation to the BWA 14th Youth World Conference in Hong Kong in July 2004.

In 2005 we celebrated 5 years of service, since Smile became a registered UK charity in March 2000. We have produced a report which covers all that has been achieved, to give thanks and encouragement to all who have supported us so generously and faithfully. The report covers the history of Smile, projects undertaken, volunteers, communication and publicity, fund raising, financial report and future vision.
