We really need your help for our Feeding programme in India. As you know, they have been facing one of the most challenging times this year with the COVID-19 outbreak. It has seriously affected them as a nation, and we have heard first-hand how extremely difficult the past few months have been. As with any country, it has not just been the outbreak of the pandemic that has been challenging, but the after effects and subsequent consequences which has had a huge impact. People have lost jobs, economies have been badly hit and people have been left to struggle.

At a time like this, there is an ever-growing need for our feeding programme to keep operational and to expand like never before. COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact globally and, in India in particular, we have seen a huge increase in the struggle for food and basic necessities. With India being forced into lockdowns, with no online services available, no organised level of healthcare, no support programmes or government led initiatives, it has meant the people have been left even more vulnerable than ever.

We need to support people as much as we can by providing meals and food for those who have been left desperate. We are seeking more support for this programme so that the amount of people we can feed increases significantly. We want to be able to feed all those who come knocking on our door begging for food. We help those who live in the local slums, who before the pandemic had next to nothing and who now have even less. Being able to put food on the table and in the mouths of people who are desperately hungry has always been a huge part of who we are, and so we ask you to support this programme so that we will be able to increase the amount of people we can feed. We have the people who can cook, we have the kitchen; we simply need to be able to buy more food in country so we can prepare more meals.
