Smile International is a
charity dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ by helping to relieve
suffering and poverty through the distribution of humanitarian aid and long-term
development projects. We are presently working in Africa, Asia and Europe. Our aim is to put a smile on people's faces as they see the love of God in
action.

Cyclone Nargis struck Myanmar on
2 May, with 120 mph winds and causing huge devastation, leaving around a
million people homeless, and over 20,000 dead and 40,000 missing. Estimated
numbers of people affected or killed vary greatly, but all these figures are expected to rise
dramatically, especially with the lack of clean
water. Smile International has contacts in Myanmar, through whom we will be
able to help those in need. We will be sending finance, but please note that
we are NOT collecting any aid for the country. To make a donation, please go

Urgent Need – House for Shaip
Shaip is a
blind Christian in Gjakove, Kosova, who needs
rehousing immediately. We wish to raise £15,000 to help Shaip with a new
house, as he and his young family must leave their existing accommodation in
a derelict building, which is due to be demolished very soon.
