Fundraising Smile International is a Christian organisation passionate about helping to relieve suffering and poverty around the world through our Feeding, Educating, Empowering and Developing programmes – turning tears into smiles. There is a wealth of information about our work throughout our website and it is easy to find out how you can help by visiting the Get Involved section too. In order to continue to provide for any of our programmes – we need to fundraise and our aim is to always fundraise respectfully, responsibly and also to be open and accountable to you. In demonstration of our duty of care, Smile International is registered with the Fundraising Regulator – the voluntary, independent regulator for charitable fundraising in the UK. Smile International is fully committed to the Code of Fundraising Practice and to the Fundraising Promise. The Fundraising Preference Service (FPS) was launched by the Fundraising Regulator in July 2017. Smile International is registered with the FPS and so by entering your details on the FPS website, you can choose to stop direct marketing communications via post, email, telephone or text messages from a selected charity or charities. We are also a member of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) which is the professional membership body for fundraising in the UK. They support fundraisers through leadership and representation; best practice and compliance; education and networking; and they champion and promote fundraising as a career choice. They are also a charity and support charities and public benefit organisations to connect donors and supporters with the causes they care passionately about. Their vision is Excellent Fundraising for a Better World. Excellent fundraising is the essential ingredient that enables us to make the world a better place. We acknowledge that we don’t always get it right, but we’re here to listen and will do our best to resolve any concerns that you may have. If you’d like to talk to us about our fundraising, please send us a comment or call us on: 03300 881747. Please note that when a project is sufficiently funded, we reserve the right to reallocate any surplus funds to where the need is greatest. Manage Cookie Preferences
