Latest news Another harvest in Uganda We are so pleased to announce that we have received reports of another successful harvest in Uganda! This is such encouraging news as it is hugely beneficial to those who depend so much on our Feeding projects. The more we can grow will help to create a continuous cycle of self-sustainability as the sale of any surplus food, provides extra income to plough back into our projects. To keep feeding this community and make this project effective we need your ongoing support. Your continued contribution can make this project a real success. As we mentioned last year, the team in Uganda will be requiring £400 - £500 (depending on exchange rate at the time of purchase and the cost of goods) every 3 – 4 months over the next 12-month period (at least), with the aim to maintain an uninterrupted planting schedule. This is until they reach a stage where they will gain enough surplus each harvest to sell at market, so they can reinvest more each time and therefore require less from the UK. This will therefore, help to make them more self-sufficient. There is a real joy from our team knowing that they are planting and then gathering real, fresh produce which is so encouraging and worthwhile for them to see and benefit from. It’s making a real, tangible difference to so many and is a great project to get behind! Anything you can donate towards this to keep this cycle going, will be hugely appreciated. Please select a donation amount (required) £16 A donation of £16 will go towards our where needed most projects. £24 A donation of £24 could help to provide food for our much needed feeding programmes. £33 A donation of £33 could help contribute towards our seeds project in Uganda helping to make them self sustainable. £300 A donation of £300 serves as a practical way to remember this meaningful anniversary while continuing to bring lasting transformation to those we help.
