Happy New Year 2026 from Smile International! We hope you had a blessed and restful Christmas and feel ready for this new year that God has in store for us.

While a new year presents itself with new opportunities, new goals and new ways of doing things, it can often feel a little daunting at times, especially in January when we have the whole year ahead of us.

Let this be an encouragement for us all, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14. This command was given by Moses to the Israelites as they were trapped between the pursuing Egyptian army and the Red Sea. It is a call to faith, urging His people not to panic or worry what’s ahead but simply trust.

With global events as they are, it's a powerful reminder that God goes before His people, making a way and bringing peace in chaos.

This year we trust the Lord for His leading and guidance of Smile International.

We trust wholeheartedly in the One who goes before us.

We trust the Lord for His wonderful provision.

We trust that the resources we will need will be made readily available to us and our teams at the right time.

We trust the Lord to lead us to all the people He wants us to help and support this year.

We trust Him for all the work of our FEED projects, for the logistics and provisions.

We Trust Him for the protection of all those who work for Smile International and our partners.

We trust the Lord that together, we will turn even more tears into beautiful smiles this year.

And more than anything we trust in His unfailing love.
